Weekend Excursion Idea for Vegans
For Angelenos looking for an enjoyable weekend excursion idea, I suggest lunch or dinner at Mary's Secret Garden. The food is vegan and delicious, with many raw/living foods selections on the menu (which I appreciate), the staff is friendly and mellow -- and the best part is that, after a tasty, healthy meal, you can stroll historic downtown Ventura's main street. Charming. I had Thanksgiving there, and it was the best Thanksgiving meal that I ever had, so far.
